EDPM’s successful partnership with RVWWDA 

RVWWDA is one of the eight Water Works Development Agencies established by the Government of Kenya, under the Water Act 2002, as part of the reforms in the water sector. RVWWDA is mandated to develop water supply and sanitation infrastructure within their area of jurisdiction, including Turkana, West Pokot, Baringo, Nakuru, Nyandarua, Elgeyo Marakwet, Narok and Laikipia. Howard Humphreys is presently working on the following water supply projects: Design review and construction supervision of Oyugis water supply project This project comprises construction of a run-of-river intake works, 1.4km raw water main, 12,300m3/day capacity conventional water treatment works, 13.3km treated water transmission pipeline, 4,500m3 capacity reinforced concrete storage tank and 12.5km distribution mains. Design review and construction supervision of Kendu Bay water supply project Construction of a run-of-river intake works, 8km raw water main, 5,700m3/day capacity conventional water treatment works, 15km treated water transmission pipeline, 2,000m3 capacity reinforced concrete storage tank and 10km distribution mains. Design and construction supervision of Bomet-Mulot water supply project Construction of a run-of-river intake works, 5km raw water main, 17,800m3/day net capacity conventional water treatment works, treated water transmission pipelines total length 118Km, 7Nr. reinforced concrete storage tanks, capacity ranging between 200 – 500m3.
