Peter Wachira

Peter Wachira a registered consulting engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) has 35 years of working experience as astructural/ bridge design engineer and supervision engineer in major projects. He has worked in several countries in Africa including Uganda, Kenya, Sudan, Ghana, Malawi and Tanzania. Knowledge gained in various projects includes feasibility studies, engineering design / design reviews, tender documentation, contract management as well as decommissioning. At design stage, he has been involved in preliminary and detail design for projects with diverse aspects of engineering.

Kanwal Syan

Kanwal Syan is a Director of Atkins East Africa. In his tenure with the firm, he prides himself to have built and grown a successful, hardworking and very united team, delivering excellence to many clients in the region.
He has extensive experience of successfully leading multi-disciplinary complex Commercial projects including Kengen on the Olkaria II Geothermal project, Ministry of Energy and Kenya Power Lighting Company. He has participated in the Geothermal Conferences arranged by the Electricity Regulatory Board.
He is commercially savvy having been Commercial and Financial Director of the Group Business in East Africa (1976-1999). Kanwal is dynamic with proven ability to plan and manage large projects forming excellent working relationships with clients and collaborative partners.
He has previously been in-charge of the business and commercial management of the Practice in East Africa from 1980 – 2000 and Director of the Kenya practice with effect from 2000.
