Environmental engineering services have been provided by Howard Humphreys on projects for over 10 years. In the past these services were outsourced for projects where Environmental Engineering was part of the overall scope of the main engineering projects undertaken by the company.
The company maintained a list of registered consultants who provided these services. Subsequent to development of the company’s Strategic Plan in 2004 an in house service line; Safety, Health and Environment was established. The Service Line employs Occupational Health and Safety Specialists registered by the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services as Health and Safety Advisers/Auditors and Fire Safety Auditors and Environmentalists registered with National Environmental Management Authority as Lead Experts and Associate Experts.
The Service Line provides support services on environmental, health and safety management to civil engineering projects undertaken by the company and/ or directly to clients where such services are required.
Our Lead Environmental Experts have expertise in carrying out environmental impact assessments and audits for various institutional, commercial and industrial projects, in addition to infrastructure projects.

• Occupational Safety and Health Audit of 77 Base Transceiver Stations for Safaricom Limited.
• Occupational Safety and Health audit of Central Bank of Kenya’s regional offices in Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa and Eldoret.

• Occupational Safety and Health Management of Kengen’s Olkaria 2 and 4 geothermal power construction sites.
